English Tudor House

This suburban English Tudor, circa 1920, needed substantial renovation to meet the family’s needs – and to do so using existing materials such that any completed work would look as though it had always been there. MMA matched existing brick, slate, and stonework to accomplish this goal, allowing form and function to evolve within the context of its architectural style.

The new floor plan opens up and enlarges many spaces, creating a more graceful flow throughout. Custom wrought-iron, limestone, rift white oak, and satin nickel finishes complete the interior’s blend of contemporary flair and traditional line. The computerized lighting system allows flexibility for the client’s art collection and the potential of reprogramming should the light path and light scene requirements change.
